A PHARMACY in Poole is the latest to offer the Covid-19 vaccination. Bryant Pharmacy in Ashley Road, Parkstone joins two other pharmacies in Wallisdown and Christchurch offering vaccinations to vulnerable residents. Jabs at the site started yesterday, Thursday February 4, but people have been warned to stay away until they are invited. Meanwhile patients over 70 at the Highcliffe Medical Centre have been urged to call the surgery to make an appointment for a vaccination. A spokesman for the Bryant Pharmacy said: People are asked not just turn up and ask for a jab as you could be delaying the vaccination process and disrupting the flow of those patients who are most vulnerable.
Highcliffe Medical Centre begin handing out coronavirus vaccines A SURGERY in Highcliffe has started administering vaccinations fort the first time after revealing that they were struggling to get hold of Covid-19 vaccines. Highcliffe Medical Centre in Lymington Road had previously stated that they have been unable to provide Covid-19 vaccinations due to the “regulations around the movement of vaccines”. However the surgery has started providing vaccination on Saturday January 16 and are slowly working their way through residents in the area, making sure everyone receives the potentially lifesaving jab. In a statement published on Facebook on Friday January 15, Highcliffe Residents Association said: “We are delighted to hear that the Covid vaccine is now being administered to patients registered at Highcliffe Medical Centre.
