The exact dates when the public s vaccination in stages will begin will be announced on Thursday, Aistė Šuksta, spokeswoman for the health minister, told BNS. A special registration system will also be presented next week. Currently, every municipality organises vaccination registration separately. The Health Ministry has previously said that a national registration system would be completed by May 15. Official statistics show that Lithuania has so far received 1,250,555 vaccine doses, and a total of 1,039,032 coronavirus jabs have been administered.
