Lithuania's Health Ministry is set to announce the date when mass vaccination in the country will begin.
The exact dates "when the public's vaccination in stages will begin" will be announced on Thursday, Aistė Šuksta, spokeswoman for the health minister, told BNS. A special registration system will also be presented next week.
Currently, every municipality organises vaccination registration separately.
The Health Ministry has previously said that a national registration system would be completed by May 15.
Official statistics show that Lithuania has so far received 1,250,555 vaccine doses, and a total of 1,039,032 coronavirus jabs have been administered.
