LSU fans electrify Alex Box Stadium, first game under new 100% capacity rules

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU fans electrified Alex Box Stadium Friday, April 30, after the school allowed 100% capacity for the first time in more than a year.
Officials announced this week that there would be no restrictions on any of its outdoor athletic venues.
“Well, I think everybody knows that fans play a big role here specifically at this field. I also think the team coming from Arkansas knows that fans play a big role when they come and play in this stadium,” said Chris Heller.

CLEVELAND, Ohio. (WAFB) - Former LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has been selected in the 2nd round, No. 59 overall by the Carolina Panthers.
The 6-foot-2 205 pound receiver played in 32 games for the Tigers with 20 starts he finished his career with 104 receptions for 1,594 yards and 23 touchdowns. Marshall’s 23 touchdown receptions rank No. 4 in school history.
Bengals, Dolphins Make NFL Draft History With First Round Picks in 2021

The Cincinnati Bengals made NFL draft history Thursday night when they selected former LSU wide receiver Ja Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick. Combined with last year s overall No. 1 pick with former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, the Bengals became the first team to ever draft a quarterback-receiver combo from the same college who were both top 10 picks for the same NFL team.
With the sixth overall pick, the Miami Dolphins did the same. The Dolphins selected former Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who ll join former Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who was drafted fifth overall in the 2020 draft.
