Attempted child abduction reported in Louisa, Kentucky; public s help sought SHANNON STOWERS © Provided by WCHS Charleston/Huntington Police in Louisa, Kentucky, are searching for a suspect in an attempted child abduction on Friday. The Louisa Police Department said it responded to the reported attempted abduction about 5:15 p.m. near Gene Wilson Boulevard Lawrence County High School. The suspect was reported to have an average build, brown hair, facial hair around the mouth, and was wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. The police department is asking anyone who lives in the area to review their surveillance footage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Louisa Police Department or the Lawrence County 911 Center’s non-emergency line at 606-638-4851.
