It s been over a week since the Metro experienced severe storms that caused extensive damage to the area s trees. Still, one organization is helping clear debris that remains.Hazel Greene, 68, said she was home babysitting when the storm s hurricane-grade winds blew into Omaha. A decades-old tree next door fell into her property, blocking her driveway and garage.I m grateful it didn t touch the house, Greene said. That was a blessing. Greene said her godson cut out a path for her to walk under the fallen tree, but she had no way to move it. I just come outside to look at it and I d say Why? Greene said.Greene made a phone call early Monday morning to Team Rubicon. The disaster relief program is responding to dozens of calls around the city to break down trees.
