Khazri wind to blow in Baku

Changeable cloudy and rainless weather is expected in Baku on April 27. Strong north-west wind will blow. The temperature will be +10-13 °C  at night, +17-19 °C  in the daytime in Baku and Absheron peninsula, the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported. Atmospheric pressure will rise 756 mm Hg to 764 mm Hg. Relative humidity will make 65-75 percent at night and 40-45 percent in the daytime. Rain and hail are expected innorthern and western regions. It will be foggy in some places in the morning. West wind will intensify in some areas. The temperature will be +11-16 °C  at night and +22-27 °C  in the daytime. In the mountains, the temperature will be +5-10 °C at night, +12-17 °C  in the daytime.

Baku to host exhibition dedicated to Khojaly genocide

(MENAFN - AzerNews) By Laman Ismayilova   State Art Gallery and Khatai Art Center will host an exhibition dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.   The exposition will include works by Nazim Mammadov, Bayram Gasimkhanli, Fuad Gafarov, Jamil Guliyev, Mirzaahga Gafarov, Nazim Rahmanov, as well as a number of works from the final of art contest Khojaly - the city of martyrs .   The art works reflect the pain of the Khojaly tragedy, the massacre of civilians, the determination and courage of the Azerbaijani people in the struggle for the territorial integrity of the country.   The virtual exhibition will be available on the gallery`s social networks.

Azerbaijan urges UNESCO to react on Armenia`s attemp to falsify history

The Culture Ministry has issued an appeal in connection with the Azerbaijani carpets stolen by Armenia.  Karabakh carpets stolen from Shusha city, which Armenians held under occupation for almost 30 years, are expected to be displayed at Alexander Tamanyan National Museum-Institute of Architecture in Yerevan on February 20, Trend reported.  These exhibits of the Shusha Carpet Museum were taken from Shusha city to Armenia on November 1, 2020. The oldest of the carpets is about 350 years old. So-called Artsakh carpets that will be showcased at the exhibition are samples of the national heritage of the Nagorno-Karabakh region, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan.
