In June 2020, President Donald Trump issued a pro-life rule that will protect pro-life Americans and help save babies from abortion. His administration implemented a rule to block the effects of a dangerous Obamacare provision that could be used to compel doctors to participate in abortions.
Today, Joe Biden reversed it.
During the trump administration, the Department of Health and Human Services finalized a rule that revises 2016 provisions of the Obamacare section 1557 rule that had redefined discrimination “on the basis of sex” to include “pregnancy termination.” The new rule protected doctors, nurses and medical professionals from being compelled to assist abortions.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, one of the newest members of “The Squad,” freshman Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., referred to black mothers as “birthing persons.” The abortion advocacy group NARAL quickly backed the Missouri congresswoman’s erroneous definition of who can give birth.
“When we talk about birthing people, we’re being inclusive,” the group said. “It’s that simple. We use gender neutral language when talking about pregnancy, because it’s not just cis-gender women that can get pregnant and give birth. Reproductive freedom is for every body.”
While many Americans scoff at this bewildering sentiment and acknowledge it is contrary to basic science, Bush’s rhetoric further highlights Democrats’ insistence that up is down, left is right, and God is a lie. Shame on you

On Monday, the Biden administration announced that it would force doctors who can perform sex transition surgery to do so, regardless of their religious objections. This is a declaration of war on Catholic doctors and hospitals. It will also be contested in the federal courts.
Predictably, the media are billing this Health and Human Services decision, which applies Title IX of civil rights law to the rights of transgender persons, as an anti-discrimination measure, not as an attack on religious liberty. Title IX bars discrimination based on sex, but says nothing about transgender persons.
