Twitter’s abuse of the sensitive content filter is another form of censorship and the company uses it a huge amount. Twitter deployed it to reduce the reach and engagement of at least 350 conservative accounts in the past year.
That tally comes from the Media Research Center’s CensorTrack.org. That’s likely only scratching the surface, given the amount of content on Twitter.
While Twitter has not released information on how the use of the sensitive content filter restricts engagement, Facebook has said that the use of similar interstitials has reduced user clicks by 95 percent. Not only has Twitter been guilty of misusing the sensitive content filter by applying it to undeserving content, it has also been guilty of filtering the majority of content from certain accounts.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is railing against the unchecked power of Big Tech, including social media giants like Twitter and booksellers like Amazon, to control speech in America.
Thomas s comments came on the heels of a somewhat related Supreme Court case. It was about former President Donald Trump s efforts to block critics from his personal Twitter account. The Court declared that case moot since Twitter has banned Trump, but Thomas said the case raises a lot of very big issues that will need to be addressed soon.

A new report from the Napa Legal Institute has revealed the full extent of big-tech censorship of Christians. It details the growing attitude of hostility towards faith-based views and organizations in large tech companies, and urges “decisive” actions by faith leaders to confront this new culture.
The report, compiled by the Napa Legal Institute and published last week, alleges that since the beginning of the year, religious organizations and individuals have been censored on social media at a rate of roughly once a week. You can read the full report here.
