New Delhi: India has adequate supplies of Covid-19 vaccines but states need to increase the involvement of private hospitals, better utilise capacity and plan a month in advance to scale up the ongoing public immunisation drive, National Health Authority CEO Ram Sewak Sharma told ET.
“The Centre has enough vaccine supply,” he said in an interview. “The states have to plan at least a month in advance to better utilise their capacity. They will have to make private hospitals participate more and more. This way states would know how much supply they need and hospitals would also be able to indicate their sessions.”
New Delhi [India], March 2 (ANI): Over 1.48 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far in the country, said the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday.
