Houston Press. While some Pearland residents may be slow to warm up to the new concept, owner and executive chef Eric Nelson is eager to welcome the community to his exciting venture. Nelson has previous experience working for the Ritz Carlton hotel group, Valencia Hotel Group, The RK Group and most recently as executive chef and managing partner at Number 13 in Galveston.

High Wycombe s newest hotel has reached a major milestone ahead of its completion next year. Anyone driving past the Handy Cross Hub will have seen huge progress being made on building the town’s newest hotel, a 150-bed, £21 million Hampton by Hilton offering. The new hotel, which is set to fully completed in April next year, celebrated its topping out this month - where the highest point of a building is completed. Guests at the topping out ceremony were treated to a scene from A Christmas Carol on the roof of the hotel - with project quantity surveyor photographed lying in a hotel bed dressed as Scrooge.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Food Bank’s final mega distribution of 2020 Tuesday morning carried a Texas twist with each of the food packages.
The 2,000 households a total of about 9,000 to 10,000 people received a brisket, courtesy of the RK Group, and sausage links from Kiolbassa Smoked Meats among their roughly 150 pounds of food as they passed through the Alamodome parking lot. Community First Health Plans also helped pay for the transportation for much of the food.

Working with longtime partners Community First Health Plans, Kiolbassa Smoked Meats and the RK Group, the Food Bank will provide holiday ingredients to 2,000 local families.
