The enforcement wing of the Municipal Corporation today cracked a whip on cars and two-wheelers dumped at Burail for a long time.
On the directions of MC Joint Commissioner Rohit Gupta, a special enforcement wing team was formed. A total of 24 cars and two bikes were seized and challans were issued to the owners.
A team, under the
supervision of Superintendent Sunil Dutt and Inspector Avatar Goria, moved the seized goods to the MC store in the Industrial Area.
The vehicles will be released after a fine of Rs1,500 for cars and Rs700 for motorcycles is paid. Otherwise, they will be sold in scrap by the corporation.
