Three residents of Culpeper County have filed suit with the Culpeper County Circuit Court for relief from Governor Ralph Northamâs COVID-19 restrictions since he has reneged on a previous Agreed Order from a similar Madison County suit that freed churches from his regulation of their religious activities.
The Northam administration recently issued his Sixth Amended Executive Order 67 which prohibits all public and private gatherings of more than 25 people and any religious gathering of more than 25 people unless the Governorâs multiple restrictions are strictly followed.
Supposedly, it is unsafe for worshippers to gather in churches, but page 11 of the Order explicitly states that, âThe presence of more than 25 individuals performing functions of their employment or assembled in an educational instructional setting is not a âgathering.ââ Plaintiffs in the suit point out the stark inequality of Gov. The snow really came down in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, where as much as 11.8 inches of snow was recorded.
We also spotted some children playing by the Christmas tree, while others rushed to seek shelter indoors. Even in the snow, many are still adhered to mask mandates.

Because firetrucks need to get to fires and ambulances need to get to the sick and injured.
The National Weather Service as of Tuesday night characterized the storm as “major,” even though it cut its prediction for the Lehigh Valley to 15 inches, with higher amounts to the north in the Pocono Mountains and extreme northern New Jersey. Forecasts earlier in the day had called for as much as 2 feet of snow in parts of the region.
We have trucks, equipment, manpower, said Rick Stone, PennDOT s equipment manager for Berks County.
A mild last winter means most of the equipment sat idle at the Bern Township municipal building.
Steve Edwards, the township s assistant roadmaster, and his crew spent much of the day Tuesday firing it up and making sure it s all set to get to work. Last year was kind of slow, so all of our equipment was ready to go last year, so just making sure we got to go over everything again because of it sitting, Edwards said.
While they were busy going through their checklist, PennDOT crews were pre-treating the roads.
