O-Zone: Bright future

Matty from Saint Augustine, FL Two questions. How do you feel about us targeting Rashawn Slater at No. 25? And do you think it is looking good to have 100 percent capacity at the Bank this season? Bring on the draft, and bring on FOOTBALL!!! DTWD! Two answers. I would be surprised if Northwestern offensive tackle Rashawn Slater is available when the Jaguars select No. 25 overall in Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft Thursday. He generally is projected from Nos. 11-to-15 or so. Now, it wouldn t be shocking if the Jaguars targeted offensive line with that selection – and it wouldn t even be shocking if they trade up a few spots to get one. It s a relatively deep draft for offensive linemen, and the versatility of the offensive tackles available there could be intriguing for the Jaguars with projected starters such as left tackle Cam Robinson and right guard A.J. 6 NFL Players Who Will Break Out on New Teams in 2021

0 of 6 Ron Schwane/Associated Press For a variety of reasons, NFL players with limited production reach new career heights after a change of scenery.  Some of the most talented players fall short of expectations because of a subpar supporting cast, competition on the depth chart or significant injuries. With a fresh and healthy start elsewhere, underperforming veterans could strive toward their peak.  With the Minnesota Vikings, wideout Stefon Diggs competed with Adam Thielen for targets. Last offseason, the Buffalo Bills acquired him, and he elevated his game to another level. The 27-year-old earned his first All-Pro and Pro Bowl nods after leading the league in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535) for the 2020 term.

2021 NFL Draft: Team Needs - AFC North

Set: Quarterback, running back, cornerback As the title suggests, the focus of this article is on needs.  We’ll discuss some depth moves as well but the Bengals have both Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon under contract until 2025 so they’re relatively “set” with starters.  They may have released Gio Bernard but Trayveon Williams actually graded out surprisingly well in pass blocking (which was Gio’s specialty) and they have him and Samaje Perine under cheap deals until 2023 so I don’t see them using any of their more valuable picks on backup QB or running back this year.  They have bigger fish to fry at picks 5, 38, and 69 at least.
