CLEVELAND, Ohio Just like last season, the Browns are showing us what to expect in 2021 with their checkbook. We knew what Kevin Stefanski’s offense would look like here before we even saw a Browns snap not just because of Stefanski’s year in Minnesota but because of what the Browns prioritized in free agency and the draft.
This year, the Browns’ first big move in free agency was a safety, creating a potential three-headed monster at the position. It tells us what Joe Woods is thinking with how he wants to deploy his 11 guys on his side of the ball.
The Cleveland Browns began March needing to improve all aspects of their defense if they are to compete with the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo in the AFC, and they took a step in the right direction by signing former Rams safety John Johnson on Monday.
