HAMMOND, La. (WAFB) - A man accused of second-degree murder turned himself in to the Tangipahoa Sherriffâs Office for his role in the shooting Feb. 24, according to the city of Hammond.
According to officials, Kareem Gatlin is wanted in connection to the shooting death of Michael Otkins II, 20, of Tickfaw.

HAMMOND, La. Crimestoppers has announced an increase in the reward for information in the case of a suspect sought in the killing of a Tickfaw man last Friday.
The reward for information on the killing of Michael Otkins II, 20, has been raised to $2,500.
Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Kareem Gatlin for Second Degree Murder, Obstruction of Justice, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Obstruction of a Roadway, and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property.
