MPD: 3 injured after Friday night crash on Madison s west side

MADISON, Wis. Three people were injured Friday night in a multi-vehicle crash on Madison’s west side. According to an incident report, the intersection of Raymond Road and McKenna Boulevard was closed while the crash was investigated and paramedics attended to the injured. The report said a SUV failed to stop for a red light heading east on Raymond Road around 9:30 p.m. Police said the SUV entered the intersection quickly, hit another SUV going north, and then veered into the median and landed on top of the traffic signals and signs. Officials said the driver was cited for a red signal violation.
