SARASOTA – A North Port man died in the early hours of Christmas Eve when he crashed his car in East Sarasota, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
According to the FHP, the 33-year-old man was traveling north on Raymond Road, approaching Palmer Boulevard, around 2:20 a.m. when he failed to navigate a curve and ran off the road. His car flipped, and the man, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, described only as a sedan. Further details have not been made public.

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - A 33-year-old man is dead following an overnight crash.
The car was traveling northbound on Raymond Road, south of Palmer Boulevard. The car missed a curve and ran off the roadway. The car rolled and the driver was ejected.
He was pronounced deceased on scene.
