RetroCrush Adds AD Police TV Anime Series Sub/Dub Streaming

RetroCrush Adds ‘AD Police’ TV Anime Series Sub/Dub Streaming Nozomi Entertainment revealed at Anime Expo 2019 that they’ve acquired the rights to the out-of-print release of  AD Police: To Protect and Service from its TV series incarnation. That landed in early 2020 on home video and the show is now, for the first time, getting some streaming going for it. The folks at RetroCrush are the first to add it and they’ve brought it out in bilingual form here for people to check out. Check out our review of the series. Originally airing in the spring 1999 season, the series was directed by Hidehito Ueda with character designs by Naoyuki Konno. AIC handled the animation production.

Sedalia Community Cafe Director Asking For Help Abby Bruce, student director, Sedalia Community Cafe, submitted the following update: With the  coronavirus affecting so much of what we can and can t do, can you imagine struggling to put food on the table?  The Sedalia Community Cafe works to make sure struggling local citizens don t have to worry about getting a nice meal at the end of the day. The Cafe is open Monday through Friday and serves dinner from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Open Door North Venue, 417 West Pettis. In order to continue serving the disabled, elderly, and homeless, we need your help.  We serve between 45 and 50 people a night and are in need of support from our community.  We are a Smith Cotton student driven organization that was started in 2006 by Smith Cotton alumni, Kristen Allcorn.

Sentai Adds Original Orphen Anime Series Trailer

The folks at Sentai Filmworks brought out the original 1998  Orphen TV series as an SDBD release during the summer of 2019 but even then they forgot to slide a trailer onto their YouTube channel for it. That’s now been done, giving us a chance to reconnect once again with the classic work. The release is still available at retail and from the distributor and the show is also streaming on HIDIVE at the moment. The series was directed by Hiroshi Watanabe based on the screenplay by Masashi Kubota and Mayori Sekijima. Masahiro Aizawa handled the character design adaptations with J.C. Staff working on the animation.
