Three bodies found in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Three bodies were found from different parts of the city on Saturday.
A police spokesman said that passersby informed the police about the bodies of a 50-year-old woman in parking area of Allied Hospital, a 65-year-old man in Ghaseet Pura and a 45-year-old man in Warispura. The police have shifted the bodies to a mortuary for postmortem. One of them was identified as Maqsood while investigation is under way.
Power shutdown: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) issued a power shutdown notice due to necessary repair, maintenance and expansion of electricity lines.

Cops asked to improve security of Chinese engineers

FAISALABAD: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Riffat Mukhtar Raja Sunday directed police officers to ensure strict security of Chinese engineers and foreigners working at various projects across the district under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Addressing a meeting, he directed the CPO Faisalabad and DPOs Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot to make stringent security arrangements by ensuring three-tier security involving policemen, private guards and armed security personnel for Chinese and other foreigners. He said no negligence in this regard would be tolerated at any cost.

Schoolteacher ‘sexually harassed’ in Dijkot
Victim claims she was intoxicated after which accused filmed her in private
DIJKOT:
A married woman, a resident of Ghulam Muhammadabad, who taught at a private school in Marzipura was allegedly subject to sexual harassment by the school owner and two other men.
As per the details, they blackmailed her by threatening to share her compromising videos. A case was filed against the alleged harassers and police were still on the look-out.
The survivor reported that during the beginning of the lockdown in March 2020, when all of her colleagues worked from home, she was asked by the school owner, Ali Asghar, a resident of Rehmat Town, to report to school in the last week of March.
