COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Lexington County deputies say they arrested a suspect for a fatal shooting on Platt Springs Road Sunday morning. According to authorities, 26-year-old Regin Oakman shot a man, after an argument between co-workers. Coroner Margaret Fisher identified the victim as 39-year-old Michael Keaton from Gaston.

Oakman is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center.

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department have arrested a man for a deadly shooting early Sunday morning at a business in the 3900 block of Platt Springs Road.
Authorities say Regin Oakman, 26, is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
According to the Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, Michael Lewis Keaton, 39, died from the shooting.
Officials say after speaking with witnesses, the shooting stemmed from an argument between Keaton and another man who he worked with at the business on Saturday.
