Having enjoyed success with their “at home” range, The Achray House Hotel in Highland Perthshire has launched their new Haste Ye Back range. “Finish-at-Home” and “Create-at-Home” provide two different dining options for people to prepare three-course meals without leaving the house.

Sign Up Perthshire chefs are among six finalists from across Scotland in this year’s Andrew Fairlie scholarship. Zdenka Tomova, 26, and Peter Meechan, 24, both of The Strathearn at Gleneagles Hotel, alongside 28-year-old Ryan McCutcheon of Achray House Hotel in Crieff will be representing the region. Elsewhere in Courier Country, Spud Henderson, 31 of @ 16 West End in Anstruther, Fife has also made the top six. The other finalists are Amy Stephenson of Wester Ross and Josh Wilkinson of the Isle of Eriska.

Jan 12, 2021 CAMPBELL Michael “Gros” Cvengros was called to his eternal home on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at the age of 73. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife, Jean, and children, Mike and Cindy, by his side. Michael was born March 29, 1947, to the late Helen and Michael Cvengros. He graduated from Campbell Memorial in 1965 and went on to serve in the United State Marine Corps from 1966 to 1968. In 1974, he married the love of his life, Jean. Michael worked at the Diamond Tavern in Campbell and later retired from the Mahoning County Engineer’s Office. He enjoyed time at the lake, weekly grocery shopping trips and grilling. Michael also loved taking his grandsons to the movies, working around the yard and watching Ohio State football. He was a kind and loving man who always enjoyed sharing a laugh with family and friends.
