The Animal Medical Center building in Ontario recently sold for $1.2 million dollars.
RichlandSource.com reports, the information released by the Richland County Auditor’s office in recent property transfers.
The facility, which is located on Village Mall Drive, was purchased by VC Ontario 1, LCC.
Shelby Country Club has new owners, new name
SHELBY - The Shelby Country Club was sold in March and joined the family of Little Apple, The Woods at Possum Run and Oak Tree golf courses - all located in Richland County.
The golf course on Laser Road on March 24 became known as Shelby Crossing, according to a news release. The property transferred ownership from Shelby Land Companyto SCGE LLC for $600,000 on March 29, according to the Richland County Auditor s Office.
Owners of the golf courses are Chely Broerman, Mike Broerman, Trent and Jennifer Wine and Sarah and Josiah Hulbert.
Shelby Crossing is a par 72, 18-hole course.

The former Spitzer Motors Property on Park Ave West in Mansfield has been sold to a company out of the Toledo area. RichlandSource.com reports, the sale for just shy of $430,000 was recently filed with the Richland County Auditor’s Office. The building was built in the 1950’s and the plan is to see it demolished and construction of a brand new convenience store go up later this year or sometime in early 2022.
MANSFIELD - The former Spitzer Dodge dealership will be demolished soon to make way for a convenience store/gas station called Friendship Kitchen.
The property at 744 Park Avenue West transferred to new owners Thursday for $428,000, according to records at the Richland County Auditor s Office.
Friendship Kitchen was granted a conditional use permit on Oct. 27 for new construction of a gas station with convenience store at the site, according to Mansfield City Planning Commission minutes. The property is zoned B-2.
According to the Auditor s Office, the seller, Spitzer Hardware Supply, sold numerous parcels totaling 1.9 acres at the site to Buckeye Investment NWO, whose mailing address is Fremont.
