Richmond police say that they don t see any evidence of a crime in the death of 17-year-old Antoine Whittley of Point Richmond.
PINOLE, Calif. - Richmond police said that the body of a teen who had been missing for months was recovered Thursday from the San Pablo Bay.
The police department said the body of Antoine Whittley of Point Richmond, 17, was found in the waters near Point Pinole, which sits along the San Pablo Bay.

The predicted deluge of illegal fireworks that lit up over Richmond during the Fourth of July weekend left no neighborhood at peace and once again overwhelmed the police and fire departments, according to neighbors, community leaders and officials.
Between Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 2 a.m., the Richmond 911 dispatch center received 328 calls for service related to illegal fireworks. Richmond Fire companies were “extremely busy,” according to Battalion Chief Aaron Osorio in a report shared with Richmond Mayor Tom Butt. Juveniles setting off fireworks caused a quarter-acre fire in the 3100 block of Southhamptom Ct. Large fireworks set off in the 800 block of Banks Drive caused a 3-acre vegetation fire in Point Pinole Park. A large fireworks show also caused a vegetation fire in the 1200 block of Kelsey St.
The Richmond Police Department has announced a $10,000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to the whereabouts of missing Kennedy High student Antoine Whittley.
A daily and ongoing multi-agency land and water search has yet to find the 17-year-old, who went missing after a ride share driver dropped him off mid-span on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Coordinated by Richmond Police Sgt. Joe England, the search is covering a vast area of shoreline and waters from Angel Island to East Brothers Island, and has involved the deployment of RPD drones, CHP and Coast Guard fly overs, Solano County Sheriff underwater sonar capabilities and officers walking the shorelines, according to the Richmond Police Department.

He was on his way home after visiting a friend in Richmond.
But there was some sort of disagreement with his ride-share driver while they were on the Richmond San Rafael Bridge. Investigators say that s the last time he was seen.
