Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy condemned the news in a section of media that YSRCP had been threatening candidates to withdraw in civic polls. He said that YSRCP would not tolerate the false propaganda and will proceed legally by filing a defamation case against those responsible.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said it was not possible to threaten someone to withdraw in elections at present times where technology is at good use. He asserted that the results of the panchayat elections will be repeated in the forthcoming municipal elections and said the urban body elections will be held for 12 corporations and 75 municipalities of which three corporations and twelve municipalities are unanimous and YSRCP would sweep in civic polls are they are being held on party symbol.

Amaravati, March 4 : Following a stellar show in the recent panchayat elections, the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders have started claiming unanimous wins in majority of the ward and division elections in the urban local bodies polls with the polling process yet to be completed.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, political affairs adviser to the state government has already claimed that the YSRCP will sweep the municipal elections.
Party leaders claimed that YSRCP unanimously won 571 wards.
Out of a total of 2,794 wards, the party leaders said 578 have gone for unanimous polls in which YSRCP claimed the lion s share of 571 wards and divisions.

Amaravati: Affirming that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is getting an overwhelming mandate as seen in Panchayat polls, YSRCP said that it would sweep the Municipal polls as well.
Speaking to media here on Wednesday, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the TDP has no candidates to field, although State Election Commission has given one more chance to file nominations.
YSRCP candidates will sweep in the municipal elections, as people have witnessed the good governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the past 20 months. He said that the elections have always proved that YSRCP is the clear winner, with people’s blessings.
