Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana on Thursday expressed confidence that the party will sweep the municipal elections as indicated by the wave of unanimous elections by YSRCP candidates in many municipalities.
Addressing the media here, he said, that so far 578 wards across the State have been elected unanimously and of them YSRCP candidates have won in 571 wards without polls, securing 98.8 percent. He stated that the municipal elections are being held in 75 municipalities and 12 corporations rounding a total of 2794 wards. Unlike Panchayat polls, as Municipal elections are being held on party symbol, the minister said that YSRCP will sweep in a smooth way.

Amaravati: Affirming that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is getting an overwhelming mandate as seen in Panchayat polls, YSRCP said that it would sweep the Municipal polls as well.
Speaking to media here on Wednesday, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the TDP has no candidates to field, although State Election Commission has given one more chance to file nominations.
YSRCP candidates will sweep in the municipal elections, as people have witnessed the good governance of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the past 20 months. He said that the elections have always proved that YSRCP is the clear winner, with people’s blessings.
