AMARAVATI: TDP leaders are conspiring to prevent publicity for government schemes by diverting people s attention to political issues, said Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Government Advisor (Public Affairs) and added that the government has constituted SIT to investigate demolition of temples and has already resolved some of the cases. He stated that the entire election schedule was brought to divert the Amma Vodi initiative.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that the recent events have shown that some political forces are conspiring to divert the people’s attention from government welfare initiatives. The BJP will make one more attempt to visit the Sri Rama temple at Ramateertham in Vizianagaram district on Thursday.
Addressing the media here on Wednesday, BJP State president Somu Veerraju demanded that the government grant them permission to visit the temple just as it accorded permission to YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijaya Sai Reddy and Leader of the Opposition and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu.

KURNOOL: YSRC MLC Challa Ramakrishna Reddy from Owk in Kurnool district breathed his last at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 72. He is survived by wife Sridevi, two sons, and two daughters. Ramakrishna was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad on December 13 with mild fever. Later, he had tested positive for Covid-19. He was on ventilator for some time.
His funeral will be held at Owk at 3.30 pm on Saturday. Ramakrishna won the Assembly elections for the first time in 1983 from Panyam constituency in Kurnool.
