The third candidate, Autumn Richard, had 157 votes. The board’s incumbent, longtime local politician James McCaffrey, did not run for re-election. Just 1,005, or about 15% of Millis’ 6,692 registered voters, cast ballots in Monday’s election. Three other races emerged by election day. Nicole Riley kept her seat on the Planning Board over challenger Taewan Kim, with 706 votes to Kim’s 222. Donna Scotland will be the new Board of Health member, securing 637 votes to opponent Jean Oakland’s 237 votes.
