YOUNGSTOWN Lucy Mae Connor, 79, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, and is now home with her Heavenly Father.
Lucy Mae Connor, affectionately known as “Cookie,” was born Dec. 5, 1941, in Youngstown, the daughter of John Clark and Thelma Fitzgerald. She attended East High School, and after high school, was employed at Southside Hospital for 13 years. She was also employed at The Hagstrom House and the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority.
Her love for people led her to become a foster mom, also. One of her greatest gifts was her passionate concern for others. Lucy had a love for crocheting blankets, crossword puzzles and caring for the sick and less fortunate. She spent most of her available time doing such.

On Monday, a day after roughly 10 inches of snow hit parts of the area, the National Weather Service said more snow is likely overnight into Tuesday.
“There’s a quick moving storm that moves through the area late tonight (Monday) through tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, Valeria Meola, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Westampton, New Jersey, said Monday morning.
After that, there could be another snowstorm Wednesday through Friday, according to Meola. Additional information on that storm, such as snowfall predictions, were not yet available.
Winter Storm Orlena continued its slow slam of Montgomery County, as the nor’easter stretched into its third and final day, bringing more than one foot of snow to parts of
