GARDEN ROUTE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are in for a loud and busy musical weekend, with some legendary South African artists lined up to take to the stages at Mel s Place and Blend this Easter.
There will be nine exciting shows at the two venues between Thursday 1 April and Monday 5 April, with some artists lined up to perform both in Plett and Knysna.
The bustling weekend will kick off in Knysna tonight (1 April) with an Ard Matthews performance at Blend Country Restaurant followed by SA rock-doyenne Karen Zoid on Friday 2 March while fellow veteran Arno Carstens will take to Mel s Place on the same day.

Dr. Carlton Mills The writings over the years about the relationship between the Turks & Caicos Islands and the Bahamas (1766 – 1848) and (1962 – 1973) and Jamaica (1874 – 1962), tend to give the impression that the Turks & Caicos Islands was a dependency of these two former British Colonies. Nothing is further from the truth.
The manner in which the term “dependency’” is portrayed is utterly misleading and a misrepresentation of the actual circumstances at the time. It also gives the impression that the Turks and Caicos Islands could not exist without the assistance by these former colonies.
