As part of the decree – which remains subject to the court s oversight for three years –the town promises not to interfere with the development or purchase of homes based on the buyers religion or familial status. It also pledges to adopt no housing laws or policies or make any decisions about housing projects that discriminate on that basis.
The steps the town must take are fairly minor. Town Board members and certain town employees must take a training class on fair-housing rules each year. The town also must name one official or employee to be Chester s fair housing compliance officer, and post its fair housing policy and links to state and federal agencies on its website.

In 2012, I had the pleasure of joining the journalism and mass communication department as an adjunct lecturer.

Murray State’s department of journalism and mass communications has spent the spring semester preparing to send off Robert Valentine, who has been an instructor in Wilson Hall since 1974.
Valentine explained his move from New York to Kentucky was not a linear decision. After bouncing around the nation for business opportunities for his father, the Valentines eventually wound up in Bowling Green, Kentucky for a while.
“We got here at the end of my fourth grade year,” Valentine said. “I graduated high school in Bowling Green.”

There are several startups taking on the livestream market in the US, but a few apps in particular stand out in the ways they make this sales channel accessible to small businesses. Popshop Live: for independent retailers
Dan Dan Li initially founded Popshop Live as a peer-to-peer resale app, then revamped it in 2019 to become a livestream-shopping app catered to retailers and e-commerce businesses.
Li told Insider the company had prioritized working with brick-and-mortar business owners because so many have been hit hard by the pandemic. Livestreaming has been a way for many sellers to reach a whole new breadth of online shoppers.
