Stroller Strong Moms isn’t just a fitness group for moms. It s a community.
At least that’s how Anne Perrault, co-owner of the Clarksville chapter of Stroller Strong Moms, feels about it.
On a typical morning, what spectators on the outside aren t privy to are the rigorous, hour-long, weekday morning trainings that begin at 9:30 a.m.
The style could be likened to boot camp, with a focus on high intensity interval training and station rotation through exhausting movements that the mothers make look effortless.
The strollers, of course, carry children from infancy to 4 years old.
While participating women look like ordinary moms in neon, spandex and sweats trying to stay in shape, there’s a lot more going on beneath the surface; an entire network of support.
