CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The lawn of the historic Montgomery County Courthouse in downtown Clarksville was filled Saturday as close to 150 people turned out for the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence.
The event this year was hosted by two local historical organizations, the Capt. Willian Edmiston Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, DAR, and the Valentine Sevier Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, SAR.
