If you miss Quibi, its video content returns to the web on Thursday, May 20, this time on Roku.
The Quibi shows are now Roku Originals, and they ll be free to watch. You’ll just have to sit through the occasional ads. The shows will be viewable over Roku devices on the Roku Channel. You can also watch the Roku Channel on the official website.
Roku Originals marks the start of Roku’s attempt to create original content, putting it in closer competition with streaming giants like Netflix and Disney+. For now, the company is relying on Quibi’s existing catalog to supplement the original content push. Roku reportedly spent less than $100 million to secure the rights for Quibi’s various shows after the service shut down.
