Representative image GREATER NOIDA: Two persons, including a 45-year-old woman, died in two separate accidents in Greater Noida on Saturday. The first accident took place early in the morning when an Eeco van crashed into a stationary truck on NH-34. The helper of the truck died on the spot. Police said the Eeco was travelling towards Ghaziabad when it crashed into the truck around 7.30am. Dharmendra Sharma, the SHO of Badalpur police station, said the truck helper was guiding the driver to reverse the vehicle when the van hit him. “The Eeco first hit the helper, Krishnamurti, before crashing into the truck. He got crushed between the two vehicles and died on the spot,” Sharma said. The truck driver fled the spot. Three youths who were in the Eeco Vikas, Prince and Pradeep, all from Muradnagar suffered injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital and were referred to Safdarjung hospital.
