HYDERABAD: High sugar levels, side-effects of medicines and the immune-compromised state of those suffering from black fungus are leading to multi-organ failure, causing death.
The recorded deaths in ENT Hospital are only two. This apart, in private hospitals and homes, there are unregistered deaths.
There have been more than 250 surgeries at the ENT Hospital, 100 surgeries in Gandhi Hospital and more than 450 surgeries in different private hospitals in the state. New patients admitted into the Government ENT Hospital and Gandhi Hospital are more than 30 every day.

To reach out to the COVID-19 patients and provide with confidence to the medical staff involved in treating them, Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao made his first visit to the Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday and spent an hour interacting with the patients and doctors.
