Leleux advances to the finals in the women’s pole vault at the 2021 Summer Olympic Games. The 2016 All-American, Leleux was one of 15 athletes who was confronted by a rain delay to advance to Thursday’s final which is set to take place at 5:20 a.m. CDT. Leleux passed on her opening attempt at 13-11 ¼ before clearing 14-5 ¼ on her first attempt. She missed on her first two attempts at 14-11 before clearing the bar on her final attempt and joining American teammate Katie Nageotte in the finals.
