Deuce Wallace has proven if he s given a chance on the football field, he can overcome long odds.
The former STM Cougar and son of Ragin Cajun quarterback alum Donnie Wallace walked on to Louisiana s football team in 2015.
After 3 seasons, he earned a scholarship in at the 2018 Spring Game in coach Billy Napier s first season as head coach.
By his senior year (2019), he was starting games at defensive back, was a key member of the special teams unit, and earned the prestigious honor of being voted a year-long team captain by his teammates.
Can Wallace overcome long odds again and make an NFL roster? I wouldn t bet against him.

In Year two, Wilson replicated his exact stat line, except going to 12 PPG, but noticeably dropped in the efficiency department from 37% from deep to a measly 25%. Wilson’s going to be a pivotal piece for a tournament-level team next season.
Wilson entered the transfer portal on April 29th.
A 6-foot-3 guard, Wilson was a starter in all 26 of UL s games in 2020-2021, averaging 12.9 points per game, shooting 44% from the field and 73% from the free-throw line, while also averaging 5.5 rebounds and slightly over 3.0 assists a contest.
