From new homes to creative spaces, residents in Wimbledon are set to benefit from a range of new projects.  Business district Love Wimbledon say the developments will further enhance the great features that Wimbledon already has to offer.  Below we have listed the four developments brought to our attention by Love Wimbledon.  Hartfield Walk Goes Green Love Wimbledon has secured funding of £120,000 from Merton Council to create Hartfield Walk . The team at Love Wimbledon will join forces with creative business Firecracker Works, to transform the underused space between Blacks and Robert Dyas on The Broadway. 

First section of the North South Link opened

Published: 7:45 AM January 29, 2021    aerial view of the section of the new road leading to the new primary school - Credit: North Somerset Council The first section of the North South Link Road at Parklands Village in Locking, Weston, is now open.  The new road from the A371 to the junction with Russell Road will provide access to the Flowerdown estate and the new Parklands Educate Together Primary School which opened in September. The McCrae Road and Cranwell Road connection from the Locking Parklands site to the link road is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.   The newly-opened road is part of the 2km North South Link Road which, when complete, will run from the A371 at Locking to the A370 at West Wick roundabout near Morrisons.

I-94 Reopens North Of State Line After Crash, Delays Continue

(Shutterstock) LAKE COUNTY, IL Traffic delays in Lake County dissipated within hours of a jackknifed semi truck blocking three northbound lanes of I-94 just north of the Illinois-Wisconsin state line. During the closure, traffic was diverted off the highway and onto Russel Road in Lake County. An Illinois Department of Transportation spokesperson confirmed to Patch the interstate reopened some time before 11:30 a.m. Another crash slightly farther north on I-94 also impacted traffic on Tuesday. Another jackknifed semi truck has led to partial lane closures, but the crash was later cleared.
