New Delhi [India], August 11 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued notice to journalist Priya Ramani on the appeal of former union minister MJ Akbar challenging a trial court order which had dismissed the criminal defamation case filed by him against the journalist.
The Bench of Justice Mukta Gupta adjourned the matter observing there is no urgency. (File)

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday adjourned till August 11 hearing on the petition of former union minister MJ Akbar challenging a trial court order which had dismissed the criminal defamation case filed by him against journalist Priya Ramani.
The Bench of Justice Mukta Gupta adjourned the matter observing that there is no urgency in the matter.
MJ Akbar has challenged the trial court order passed on February 17, which had acquitted journalist Priya Ramani in the defamation case filed against her over the allegations of sexual harassment.

New Delhi [India], May 5 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Wednesday adjourned till August 11 hearing on the petition of former union minister MJ Akbar challenging a trial court order which had dismissed the criminal defamation case filed by him against journalist Priya Ramani.
The Bench of Justice Mukta Gupta adjourned the matter observing that there is no urgency in the matter.
MJ Akbar has challenged the trial court order passed on February 17, which had acquitted journalist Priya Ramani in the defamation case filed against her over the allegations of sexual harassment.
Besides, Government Medical College faculty, technicians and Consultant Anesthetist from Ramban, Bhaderwah and Batote attended the workshop.
The workshop encompassed very educative and interesting lectures, case discussions. It also witnessed Hand on training on mannequins was given to the participants.
The workshop was organized by HOD Department of Anaesthesia, Dr. Shruti Sharma, Dr. Subhash Chander and Dr. Guddi Devi under the guidance and directions of Principal Government Medical College Doda.
