PEDDAPALLI: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Rajya Sabha member Joginipally Santosh Kumar, accompanied by welfare minister Koppula Eshwar, inaugurated the Mukkoti Vruskharchana programme, marking the birthday of TRS working president and IT minister, K.T. Rama Rao here at the Abdul Kalam Stadium in the 8-incline of Singareni in Ramagundam of Peddapalli district on Saturday.

Karimnagar: Dr N. Satyanarayana, the commissioner and director of municipal administration, on Thursday directed officials to render services to the people as envisaged by the New Municipal Act.
During his tour of Karimnagar district, Dr Satyanarayana inspected a nursery at the Lower Manair Dam, Pattana Prakruthi Vanam and Alkapuri park and later chaired a review meeting with Mayor Y. Sunil Rao, collector K. Shashanka, municipal commissioner V. Kranthi and officials of municipalities in the district.

Karimnagar: AIMIM city president Syed Gulam Ahmed Hussain on Saturday appealed to Muslim community not to kill cows in Qurbani Wazeeb during Bakrid festival, as it would be considered a crime under law.
The appeal was made when Gulam Ahmed, along with other AIMIM leaders, met city mayor Y. Sunil Rao and requested him to take necessary steps for making elaborate arrangements for Bakrid festival in Karimnagar city.
