The transcription of the article is: Mrs. Seaver, Widow of Bank Founder, Dies Mrs. Carlton Seaver, widow of the founder of the First National Bank of Pomona, died Sunday at her home in that city at the age of 5. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Todd s Memorial Chapel, Pomona, with the Rev. Raymond A. Waser of Pilgrim Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Pomona Cemetery. Came From New York Mrs. Seaver came to Pomona with her husband from New York in 1884, and was active in the city s social, cultural and charitable undertakings.

The Friends of the Osterhout Library have reopened their used book shop, on the third floor of the main library at 71 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, on a reduced schedule. The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, by appointment, which can be made by calling the library at 570-823-0156. Inventory includes hardcover/trade books, $2; audio books, $2; paperbacks, $1; childrenâs books, two for $1; young adult books, $1, and coffee table books, priced as marked. Masks are required and social distancing will be implemented, allowing two shoppers per half hour time period. All proceeds benefit the library.
