One Person Injured After A Car Rear-Ends An Unmarked Police Car In Prescott One person was injured after a vehicle rear-ended an unmarked police car Tuesday in Prescott. Officers were called to Whipple and Division streets at around 10:36 a.m. when an unmarked traffic enforcement vehicle was involved in an accident with a 2008 green Hyundai Accent. The car was driven by a 32-year-old Prescott woman, who failed to control her vehicle when she hit the rear end of the police vehicle. She was found unresponsive, but regained consciousness and was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center and was later taken to a Phoenix area hospital. The officer was not injured. The accident remains under investigation, however impairment does not appear to be a factor.
