Updated: 4:21 PM EDT Jul 10, 2021 A Cape Cod man is facing multiple charges, including a child rape charge, in connection with a burglary in Yarmouth, according to police.Yarmouth police say the department executed a search warrant at a house on Regional Avenue in the village of South Yarmouth at about 5 p.m. Friday.The warrant was executed as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary at a Regional Avenue home that was reported to police on Tuesday, officials say.At the home where the search warrant was executed, police say they arrested 24-year-old Ryan Evans, who lived at that address.Evans was taken to the Yarmouth Police Department and booked on the following charges: burglary and assault on an occupant, assault and battery, assault to rape a child, and destruction of property. He was held on $25,000 cash bail, according to police.Yarmouth police say they have received assistance from the Barnstable County Sheriff s Department s Bureau of Criminal Investigations

FOUND: 94-year-old Yarmouth man found safe, state police say Erin Keller
The Yarmouth Police Department is currently searching for Richard Wood, 94-years-old of Yarmouth.
According to police, Wood left his residence around 3:15 p.m. to go be with his wife at Maine Medical Center. At 6:15 p.m., Wood flagged down a Portland police officer for directions to Maine Medical Center, police said.
He made it to Maine Medical Center but left, and his whereabouts are unknown. According to police, he is driving a beige 2009 Chevy Impala, with a Maine passenger car registration 4861.
