From Staff Reports ADRIAN Because one graduation this weekend wasn’t enough fun and cause for celebration, Adrian College held a second commencement Sunday, once again on the Adrian College football field at Docking Stadium. Two graduations were held at the college one on Saturday for the 2020 graduates of the college, who had last year’s commencement postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the other graduation Sunday for the December 2020 grads and this year’s spring 2021 graduates. “Our students have persevered through a challenging year and we are very pleased to give them the recognition they deserve,” Adrian College President Jeffrey Docking said. “Our goal from the start of the academic year was to give them as normal a college experience as possible. These ceremonies are consistent with this goal.”
