A stolen vehicle spotted by Regina police has led to a long list of charges for one woman.
Members of the Regina Police Service (RPS) stolen auto unit located a stolen vehicle travelling in North Regina Tuesday.
A spike belt was used to try to stop the vehicle, which kept driving until it was eventually abandoned near McCarthy Boulevard and Whelan Drive. A perimeter was then set up by police and a canine track established by the RPS canine unit.
The female driver of the vehicle was found hiding in a yard on Benjamin Crescent and taken into police custody. In a search incident to arrest, officers found drugs on the woman and several pieces of identification that reportedly did not belong to her.
