Ménage à Trois Unveils New Sweet Collection Aimed At Diversifying The BrandFebruary 8, 2021
Trinchero Family Estates is launching a new Sweet Collection of wines under the Ménage à Trois brand in a bid to bring new consumers into the prominent California wine label, which has annual U.S. volume of 3 million cases. The Sweet Collection will initially include a Dolce Sweet Red Blend and Moscato Sweet White Blend, rolling out nationally this month at $14 a 750-ml.
Billed as “indulgent, semi-sparkling sweet wines,” the new entries are both at 9.5% abv and are targeting a younger and more diverse demographic than the core Ménage à Trois brand, Trinchero tells SND, noting that the wines feature a sweetness scale on the back label and are recommended to be served slightly chilled. Ménage à Trois’ new Sweet Collection will compete against such well-known labels as Stella Rosa and Roscato in the marketplace.
