Baldner is currently an educator at Quincy University after a career in broadcast journalism .  Troup is a business manager in the financial profession. The turnout for the primary election was a dismal 17% of the eligible voters.  The turnout just might decide this election.  The polls open tomorrow (Tuesday, April 6, 2021) at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Anyone in line at 7 p.m. will be allowed to cast their vote.
