A man in the custody of Anderson Police Department escaped Sunday morning and was captured hours later.
The Independent Mail is not identifying the man by name until it can obtain warrants that can help verify his name.

The man took a shower around 9 a.m. and while the water was running, went out through ceiling tiles, Aikens said.
He was caught by Anderson County Sheriff s Office deputies around two hours later, Aikens said.
