ITSSA demands implementation of Clause VI and Clause 10 The Indigenous Tribal SahityaSabha, Assam (ITSSA) has demanded the Government to implement the Clause VI and Clause STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI: The Indigenous Tribal SahityaSabha, Assam (ITSSA) has demanded the Government to implement the Clause VI and Clause 10 of the Assam Accord. Addressing the media, ITSSA president GobindoTaid highlighted a slew of demands from the Government with addressal of the same. Taid said that the recommendations submitted by the Biplab Kumar Sharma-led high-level committee for the implementation of Clause VI should be passed in the ongoing session of the Parliament. The ITSSA president opined that a similarly high-level committee should be formed for the implementation of Clause 10 of the Assam Accord. Along with that, the Harish Shankar Brahma committee report on land policies of Assam should be implemented immediately, said the ITSSA.

Kerala records lowest school dropout rate in India: Education Minister ANI | Updated: Jan 18, 2021 11:48 IST Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], January 18 (ANI): With Kerala recording 0.11 per cent dropout rate of school students in the year 2019-20, Education Minister C Raveendranath on Monday said the state has achieved the distinction of having the lowest dropout rate in the country. Replying to a question in Kerala Assembly today, the Education Minister said that about 6.79 lakh new students enrolled in government schools in the state. Kerala was able to achieve the lowest school dropout rate of 0.11 among the states. The higher secondary school dropout rate is just 0.15 per cent while as per the Minister of Human Resource Development (MHRD) the national average is 17.06 per cent. In Kerala we were able to bring down the Upper Primary dropout rate to 0.06 per cent, Raveendranath said.
